Multicultural Week in Moonstone Class
The children thoroughly enjoyed spending time learning about Brazil. They began by researching the country for homework and sharing all their fascinating facts with each other. Then, over the course of the week, they looked at where it is in the world, completing maps showing that it is the biggest country in South America. The children then enjoyed working together in groups to find out about Brazilian food, sport, carnival, art and well-known landmarks. On Friday the children had great fun sharing all their hard work with other classes.
