Please make sure your child comes to school prepared for the weather - whatever that may be! Sunnier weather is slowly coming, so please can the children bring a sunhat into school and also apply sun cream before school. Children should bring in a bottle of plain water in a named drink container. Please ensure your child's jumper or cardigan is named so we know who to return it to should it be left outside.

As with the previous trips, the children will leave school around 10am and will return by 12.15pm in time for lunch. LIBRARY VISIT

This week, Moonstone and Garnet walked up to the Rayleigh Library. We listened to one of the librarians talking about our current project based on the ancient Egyptians. The children were given an opportunity to browse the books and children who bought their library card with them were them able to take some books out. We had a lovely time! We are in the process of rescheduling Opal's visit due to the unpredictable weather that was forecast today.

KINGS CORONATION

Today, everybody looked fab in their red, white and blue clothes! We all enjoyed making flags and crowns ready to watch Pearl and Quartz class crown King Charlie! Then in the afternoon, each Phase group performed a short song or poem based on a royal theme. Moonstone, Opal and Garnet class shared the song "Shine" - we were awesome!

We hope you all continue to enjoy your own Coronation Celebrations over this long weekend - if you do anything exciting we would love to see a photo!
