After conducting and sharing some home research, the children were very excited to learn more about the USA.
We started with some map work and made a workbook to keep all of our lovely work together.
Each table was put into a 'team' and researched a different area.

NASA
Food
A Fact on Every State
Sport
The children also took part in basketball in their PE lessons and we looked at the National Anthem in class.
The week ended with sharing our work with Ruby class and EYFS. This was lovely to see the children share what they had learnt and they listened to each other attentively. We particularly enjoyed having a go at making a Pikachu with Ruby class and eating the Anzac cookies with Pearl and Quartz.
