 Happy Friday everybody! Welcome to this week's blog and the last half term of this year! 

• Friday 12th June - Times Tables Rock Star Day - dress up as a Rock Star!
• Monday 15th June - Book Fair in school this week after school (except Thursday)
• Thursday 18th June - Father's Day Tea - in hall after school
• Friday 19th June - Father's Day Sale
• Friday 3rd July - Sport's Day

Next Forest Schools Session

Please remember your change of clothes/footwear on these dates:

Change of PE Day

Please note that next week, Year 3/4 are swapping PE day to Monday 8th June. This is a one off change and PE will revert back to Tuesdays next week. As Tulip Class are Forest Schools on this day, they will do PE in their Forest School clothes.

Year 4 TTRS Club

As the Year 4's will be completing their Multiplication Checks next week, this week's TTRS was the last session. Well done on all that you have achieved Year 4s!

Book Fair Competitions

To be in with a chance to win a £5 voucher for the Book Fair, we are holding some competitions for you to enter.

There are 5 vouchers up for grabs so 5 competitions are running.

They are:

Competition 1: Everyone - Design a new wand and include a description explaining what it is made from.

Competition 2: EYFS/ KS1 - Design a new front cover for your favourite book.

Competition 3: KS2 -  Design a new front cover for your favourite book.

Competition 4: EYFS/ KS1 - Design a bookmark.

Competition 5: KS2 - The most words read on Accelerated Reader the week before (these will be checked by Miss Harvey in school).

 

These can be done on paper and given to Miss Harvey or you can even use Google Drive to create your entry digitally. You  can enter more than one competition as long as it is for your phase.

All competition entries to be in by Friday 12th June and the winner will be announced in assembly on Monday 15th June

Winners will receive a £5 voucher for the book fair and everyone who enters will receive 5 Dojos.

 

The Book fair is running from Monday 15th to Friday 19th June and there is a 3 for 2 offer so please come along to support the school.

**There will be no book fair on Thursday 18th June due to the Father’s Day sale**

Your child's new spelling list is inside their small spelling book. Use the website Spelling Frame to help practise these words ready for a test on Friday. Login details are stuck inside the front cover of your child's reading diary.
