World Book Day - Thursday 5th March

This year is The National Year of Reading so we will all be celebrating World Book Day for the whole day. Please come wearing a costume to show your favourite book character. If you do not want to dress up, you can bring your favourite book in or a prop to give us a clue! Here is a competition you can take part in:

The children have worked so hard and we want them all to have a good rest over half term. To this end, we will not be sending home homework books over half term and will be carrying over the spellings to be tested on the first Friday back. We would encourage you, however, to read with your child as regularly as you can.

Change of PE Day

Please note that next week, Year 3/4 are swapping PE day to Monday 9th February. This is a one off change and PE will revert back to Tuesdays after half term. As Tulip Class are Forest Schools on this day, they will do PE in their Forest School clothes.
